About Us

A non-profit, non-government 12A and 80G certified Charitable Trust started by a team of enthusiastic social workers, teachers and philanthropists working to bridge the academic and social gap of EWS children.

The Background: Under the Right to Education (RTE) Act, it is mandatory for private schools in Delhi to admit 25% of total students from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category and provide them free education up to Grade 8.

Problem Identified: Children from the EWS category are lost in a new and strange world of Private Schools. Apart from academic lessons and assistance, they need loving and passionate people to help them survive and thrive in such unfamiliar environments.

Curating a Solution: Samagraa was born with the determination in its DNA to take the movement of bridging the emotional and academic gap between regular children and EWS children forward. The socio-economic gap we know cannot be addressed by us, however, we can help close the academic and personal growth gaps.
