Since I started as a volunteer in 2020, I have had the unique opportunity to interact with bright young learners who were always eager to share their interests and experiences. This ongoing interaction has inspired me to help these individual students explore their interests further and achieve their goals. Listening to these kids talk about their dream jobs and topics they are passionate about has allowed me to integrate their interests into our weekly classes. Hence, improving their verbal and written English skills while exploring topics of curiosity. From planning classes to handing out homework assignments to creating fun and engaging projects for the students, I have to say it has been a pleasure to watch them grow.

My experience teaching for Samagraa has been a positive and enriching one. When I started teaching in September, it was my first time properly teaching. However, I found that I have learned much about teaching, but also from the students I have taught and the discussions I’ve had with them. Teaching these classes has allowed me to improve my adaptability skills when teaching different subjects and working with students of different ages and schooling levels. I have definitely noticed improvement in my teaching since taking on a group of two students, and find that I have been able to create engaging and fun, yet challenging classes for the students.

It was great pleasure to work with Samagraa. I have seen the zeal and dedication with which this organisation is working for the underprivileged students. It was indeed gratifying to contribute for this kind of exceptional service. It would be privilege for me to have long term association with Samagraa.

It has been a wonderful experience working at Samagraa. The organisation works with commendable dedication because of which they are able to bring real change at the grassroot level. Moreover, the frequent personal interactions and special attention to the unique needs of every child helps make a deeper impact on children’s lives.

Samagraa has been doing wonderful work for over the years now. As we know it is mandatory for a school to take 25% students under EWS category at the time of admission. Well, do you think by merely giving them admission to such reputed schools, are we able to fill the gap? NO, many times the children are not able to cope with the academic pressure and might drop out at later stages. Hand holding for such students, giving them coaching in various subjects after school hours, this thoughtful and much needed work is done by Samagraa. Providing them with smart phones during pandemic so that they can continue their studies. It is commendable. There are many other programs in and around children that are taken by them. Not to forget, the Samagraa's management team which is a powerhouse of ideas, filled with enthusiasm to bring about a change. I feel honoured to be associated with them.
